When I was in my mid twenties, I woke up in the middle of the night in excruciating pain. I couldn't move my neck and could hardly get out of bed. Over the next few weeks and several appointments, I found out that I had some serious problems from some old injuries that had reached a breaking point. After a few months, I realized that the pain was not going to disappear overnight and that no one had easy answers for me. I had to quit my labor intensive job working with horses. I would lay on the floor and cry every night. My entire life changed.

Massage therapy and chiropractic were the only thing giving me temporary relief, so I decided to go to massage school- partly to learn what I could do to help myself, but also because the experience gave me a tremendous amount of empathy for other people who are in constant pain. The bodyworkers who were helping me became my support system and I am eternally grateful to them. By the time I was out of school, I had put myself back together and my pain levels were low.

A few months after getting my massage license, a major car wreck set me back to square one. Frustrated, I started looking for therapies that would help more than what I could find locally. That is how I discovered the neurological and kinesiology based modalities that I use in my practice. They helped me immensely and I travel across the country to take classes. I am grateful that my experiences have led me into a career where I get to share these techniques with my clients every day at work and help everyone get back to where they want to be.

Compassionate bodyworkers gave me back my life. I want to do the same for others.
